Awareness is the first step to change
Awareness of the foods you eat, the amount of activity you do (or don't do), all of you behaviors is the first key step to change.
That is what often makes keeping a diet diary so vital to weight loss programs. It makes the person conscious and aware of the foods they choose and the quantities they are eating. The results are often surprising.
Without awareness there can't be change. Without awareness there is no reason to change.
For many losing weight, eating healthier, and exercising will all add to your health and vitality. And with added fitness your daily tasks and activities will become easier and yes, your energy levels will go up. I hope your days become easier - and should they not it might be an indication your are pushing too hard and may need to take the process just a little bit slower.
Now that you have the new knowledge and awareness there is no complete return to where you were before. Your journey has begun.
